Rodger W. Dawe, 61, of Trumbull died April 17 in his home. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Justine and Franklyn Dawe.

Survivors include his brother Barry P. Dawe, and his wife Jean, of Newtown; and one nephew. A brother, Alan R. Dawe, recently predeceased Mr Dawe.

Mr Dawe loved music and enjoyed both playing the guitar and writing songs, and was an avid Beatles fan.

A funeral service celebrating his life is scheduled for Friday, April 25, at noon, in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call Friday, from 11 am to the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
