Dorothy C. Kasperait

Dorothy C. Macdonald Kasperait, 95, of Southbury died Wednesday, April 13, after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Emil Albert Kasperait.

Born in Bridgeport, she was a former resident of Newtown and Monroe. Mrs Kasperait was an officer and long-time employee of Vitramon Inc in Monroe. She was active for many years in the state and local Grange organization and a member of the Newtown Woman’s Club.

Survivors include her sister Anne Magyar of Litchfield and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held April 18 in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Trumbull, with Lay Minister Edwin Corfey of  Newtown Congregational Church officiating.

Interment followed in Monroe Center Cemetery.
