Career Information For NHS Students

Newtown High School students are encouraged to attend the LIFE Fair (Life Information for Future Employment) presented by the NHS Career Center.

Stop by the main lobby between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on Tuesday, April 26, for an opportunity to speak to representatives to learn more information about technical schools, two year colleges, trade schools, corporations, etc.

Some of the representatives providing information are: Naugatuck Valley Community College, International Union of Operating Engineers Apprenticeship Training and Skill Improvement Fund, Plumbers and Pipefitter Training Center, John Robert Powers Modeling and Acting Co., School of Allied Health Danbury Hospital, Connecticut Department of Labor, Norwalk Community College, Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, Ricci’s Hair, Gateway Community College-Auto, Connecticut State Police, Avance Estheiques, Valley View Landscaping, Big Y, Johnson & Wales, Gibbs College and others.
