Raquefette Kilchevsky, a Union College Class of 2006 arts major, is participating this spring in the college’s study abroad program in Florence, Italy. During his stay in Italy, Raquefette will study the Italian language with an emphasis on speaking and conversation, as well as Renaissance Italian civilization.

Christine Shannon, a sophomore at Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, was recently nominated for the 2005 Student Employee of the Year Award. To be nominated for the award, students must exhibit a high level of job-related skills and professionalism, and an ability to work well with other student employees and professional staff.

Michelle Black, a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences Washington, D.C., at American University majoring in psychology, was named to the fall 2004 Dean’s List. To earn Dean’s List at American University a student must obtain a 3.5 grade point average or better on their semester courses.

Richard Baumer, a student at Berklee College of Music, has earned placement on the Dean’s List for fall semester 2004-2005 academic year. To be eligible for this honor a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above.
