Too Early For Politics

To the Editor:

I’ve noticed several political ads in the guise of letters to the editor over the past few weeks. I don’t know who I plan to vote for yet, but I’m not ready to be bombarded with accusations against a group as being despicable; and letters about the wonders of the prescription drug plan as a set up for lauding a candidate the following week.

Let’s try to keep it civil this time around. If not, there’s plenty of time for the friction to begin after a peaceful summer. Maybe The Bee could initiate a separate section for those already interested in reading slanted campaign ads?
