A Touch Of Talent Onstage June 17

A Patriotic Talent Show sponsored by Newtown’s Children’s Music for the Performing Arts is scheduled for June 17, and proceeds will benefit the theater restoration project. Ongoing is a drive to fund for new theater seats at town hall.

Organizers seek participants between the ages of 12 and 16 years old to join the tryouts beginning April 27. Tryouts will continue for six consecutive Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Auditions will be held in the town hall’s Alexandria Room. Call 270-4285, or 203-206-1962 for more information.
