Deborah Ann Flynn and James Alexander Gisondi were married on September 23 at the Congregational Church of Newtown with the Rev Steven Gordon officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Allan Flynn of Newtown.
The bridegroom is the son of Blanche Gisondi of Naugatuck and the late Jerome Gisondi.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a long sleeve, white satin and battenberg lace gown with beaded bodice and train. She carried a bouquet of cascading white roses, lavender freesia, and white mini carnations accented with Queen Annâs lace and white ribbon.
Her matron of honor was Aimee Flynn of Brookfield.
The bridesmaids were Donna Wolfer of Watertown, Cheryl Daddario of Seymour, and Eva Vantroy of Southbury.
The attendants wore sleeveless, chiffon floor length dresses by New Image in deep plum, with sweetheart neckline and gathered straps in back adorned with a rhinestone clip. They carried cascading bouquets of lavender roses, pink astilbe, caspia, and heather.
The best man was Timothy Flynn of Southbury.
The ushers were Brian Flynn of Brookfield, Jerry Gisondi of Bristol, and Brian Kryzanski of Oxford.
The bride graduated from Newtown High School and Western Connecticut State University with a masterâs degree in health administration. She is a portfolio analyst for GE Capital in Danbury.
The groom graduated from Henry Abbott Technical School in Danbury and attended Naugatuck Valley Community Technical College. He is a senior claims representative for Nationwide Insurance Company in Shelton.
The reception was held at Anthonyâs Ocean View in New Haven.
Following a wedding trip to Sandalâs Resort in St Lucia, Mr and Mrs Gisondi are residing in Southbury.
