The Newtown Parks and Recreation Department presented its annual and highly popular “Egg Hunt” event at Dickinson Park on Sunday, April 13. Hundreds of children and their families, as did a special bunny, attended the event.
Hidden among the scores of plastic eggs were five golden eggs. A child who was lucky enough to find a golden egg brought it to Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Connor Negri, and the special bunny (aka Mary Negri, Connor’s mom), who presented the child with an age-appropriate toy and gift.
