Warrant
Police said they served an arrest warrant against Frederick Horton, 45, of Brookfield about 8:44 pm on April 17, charging him with fourth-degree larceny.
Police said the arrest stems from their investigation into a complaint they received on February 2. After processing, police released Horton on a written promise to appear in court on May 2.
DUI Incident
Police report that during wet road conditions about 8:45 pm on April 15, motorist Maryanne Keys, 60, of Southbury, who was driving a 2018 Hyundai Elantra southward on Walnut Tree Hill Road, struck a concrete bridge wall along the right road shoulder at a bridge construction project at the Pootatuck River.
There were no injuries. Police said they investigated and charged Keys with driving under the influence, traveling too fast for conditions, making a restricted turn, and driving with a suspended license. After processing, Keys was released on $100 bail for an April 27 court appearance.
Motorcycle DUI
Police said they received a report at about 9:16 pm on April 14 that an intoxicated man was attempting to leave the parking lot at 100 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook Center, riding on a motorcycle.
Police located motorcyclist Jeffrey Baker, 55, of Weymouth, Mass., and then investigated. They arrested Baker on a charge of driving under the influence. After arrest processing, police released Baker on $500 bail for a May 1 court appearance.
Dodgingtown Incident
Police report that motorist Joshua Lange, 47, of Milford, who was driving a GMC Acadia SUV on Hattertown Road at about 10:47 am on April 13, failed to stop at a stop sign at that road's intersection with Dodgingtown Road, after which they stopped Lange on Dodgingtown Road to investigate.
Police issued Lange a misdemeanor summons on charges of failure to obey a stop sign and driving with a suspended license. Lange is scheduled to appear in Connecticut Superior Court in Danbury on April 26 to respond to the charges.
I-84 Collision
State police report that a two-vehicle accident occurred on eastbound Interstate 84, in the area between the Exit 11 off-ramp and on-ramp, at about 1:23 pm on April 13.
In that incident, motorist Ronald Ciasullo, 82, of Waterbury, who was driving a 2016 Buick LaCrosse sedan, slowed for traffic conditions and was then struck from behind by a 2015 Subaru Impreza driven by Lamar Smith, 22, of Hamden, state police said. There were no injuries. Smith received a written warning for following too closely.
Audi Hits Toyota
In heavy traffic on westbound Interstate 84 at about 5:12 pm on April 13, motorist Marta DosSantos, 49, of Brookfield, who was driving a 2011 Toyota RAV-4 SUV, slowed for traffic conditions and was then struck from behind by motorist Richard Caruso, 45, of Brookfield, who was driving a 1999 Audi A-4 sedan, state police said.
The were no injuries. The accident is under investigation.
Highway Crash
State police report that at about 3:03 pm on April 11, motorist Patrick Beach, 28, of Milford, who was driving a 2005 Chevrolet vehicle on eastbound Interstate 84, west of Exit 9, made an unsafe lane change and struck a 2017 Lincoln MKC SUV driven by Robert Goodman, 58, of Newtown.
There were no injuries. State police issued Beach an infraction for failure to drive in the proper lane.
Auto Accident
About 3:58 pm on April 7, motorist Christine Miller, 51, of Sandy Hook, who was driving a 2011 Kia Sorento SUV northward on South Main Street, stopped behind a line of traffic near South Main Street's northern intersection with Elm Drive, police said.
Northbound motorist Gregory Kraushaar, 30, of Sandy Hook, who was driving a 2101 Kia Optima sedan, then struck the rear end of the Kia. There were no injuries. Kraushaar received a written warning for following too closely.
Honda Vs Mercedes
Police said that motorist Kihong Yoon, 37, no address given, was driving a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C-300 4-Matic sedan northward on South Main Street, near Kay Lane, in slippery conditions at about 11:20 am on April 2, when the Mercedes slowed for traffic conditions and was then struck from behind by northbound motorist Manuel Sato, 41, of Monroe, who was driving a 2007 Honda CR-V SUV.
Both drivers declined medical attention, police said. Police verbally warned Sato for traveling too fast for conditions.

Eleven Hawleyville Volunteer Fire Company members responded to a two-vehicle collision on westbound Interstate 84, west of Exit 9, at about 4:38 pm, on April 14. State police said a 2009 Chevrolet HHR SUV driven by Deborah Pires, 57, of Lee, Mass., was disabled and was thus parked on the right road shoulder with emergency road flares burning behind the Chevrolet, when motorist Gregory Yarmarkov, 33, of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., who was driving a 2017 Hyundai sedan, drove off the highway and struck the rear end of the Chevrolet, pushing it down an embankment. Firefighters extricated Pires from the Chevrolet. Both Pires and a Chevrolet passenger were transported by Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Danbury Hospital to be checked for possible injuries. State police issued Yarmarkov a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving, requiring that he appear in court on May 8.
