Why should people pick up litter?

(The Newtown Junior Women’s Club and the Newtown Lions Club are conducting  a Lose the Litter Day on April29 around Newtown)

Thomas Mascher: “So that animals don’t get hurt.”

Robert Mascher: “To make the earth clean.”

Mitch Udiskey: “Because I think if nobody does this, the world is going to turn into a really bad place.”

Kristen Grabowski: “They could draw with it.”

Cora Udiskey: “Because it’s very bad.”

Erica Ruiz: “It makes the world dirty and it kills the plants.”
