The Paproski family, owners of Castle Hill Farm on Sugar Street in Newtown, sponsored their annual “Egg-citing Farm Egg Hunt” on Sunday, April 13.

The event took place on the main gathering field of the farm and featured “Egg Stations” where children stopped and picked up plastic eggs filled with small toys. Egg cartons were provided free of charge so there was no need to bring baskets.

Each Egg Station featured a different aspect of the farm. One station featured a very large cow, and the children were given a handful of hay to feed the hungry creature. Another station allowed the guests to climb up into the seat of an enormous farm tractor. Other stations featured sheep, chickens, ducks, and even the Easter Bunny. Scores of children and their families turned out for the very muddy but exceptionally fun event.
