Physician Assistant Joins

Newtown Family Medicine, PC

Dr Paul A. Fitch and the staff of Newtown Family Medicine, 184 Mt Pleasant Road, announce that Cindy M. Wassmuth, PA-C, will be joining the practice as of April 21, 2008. Ms Wassmuth is a nationally certified physician pssistant with 12 years of experience in family medicine, including work related to clinical drug trials.

Ms Wassmuth graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1995 and furthered her education in 1998 by obtaining a master’s degree through the University of Nebraska. She has practiced family medicine her entire career. Her special interest is in adolescent and women’s health care issues.

Ms Wassmuth and her family moved to Brookfield from Tucson, Ariz., in early 2007. She and her husband have a 4-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. She is an active member of Brookfield Newcomers and Neighbors Club, as well as the Moms Club of Newtown and Brookfield East.
