O&G Adding New Talent

Maureen Voghel has been named sales representative for O&G’s, Masonry Division and Earth Products Showcase.

Ms Voghel will be responsible for showroom sales in the Danbury showroom, and will work with sales representatives from every showroom. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the building trade industry, most recently from Cooks Common Realty where she was liaison in all facets of site development.

Ms Voghel earned her BA in elementary education and public administration from Southern Connecticut Sate University.

In related news, Marc Moavero has been promoted to facility manager for O&G Industries — Masonry Division in the Danbury facility.

In his new position, Mr Moavero will oversee daily operations of the mason store, stone yard and ready-mix operation. In addition, he will manage a staff of 30, control and monitor purchasing requirements, provide sales support, and organize material shipping and receiving movement with facility managers from every O&G location.

Mr Moavero has more than 15 years experience in the masonry business. He previously worked for Shoreline Pools as purchasing agent, Westchester Landscape Depot as sales manager, and his most recent position as sales associate for O&G’s Masonry Division for the past eight years.

He attended the University of New Haven Business Administration program.
