Michael Dube and Megan Anderson

Janice E. Anderson of Sandy Hook announces the engagement of her daughter, Megan Elizabeth Anderson, to Michael Patrick Dube, son of Roger and Carol Dube of Vernon.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late John S. Anderson. She is a 2001 graduate of Newtown High School, and a 2005 graduate of Villanova University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner at Boston College. She is a registered nurse at Children’s Hospital of Boston, and lives in Somerville, Mass.

The groom-to-be is a 1996 graduate of East Hartford High School, and then the University of Delaware, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a certified public accountant and manager, audit and risk services, at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Boston, and also lives in Somerville.

A September 2008 wedding, to take place in Quincy, Mass., is being planned.
