Eleanor Joan Bedore

Loved Friends And Family

Eleanor Joan “Joni” Bedore, 66, of Bethel, died April 10 at Danbury Hospital. She was the beloved wife for 43 years to Wayne Bedore. She was born in Portchester, N.Y., July 6, 1941, the daughter of Paul and Eleanor (Donahue) Zeh.

 She is survived by her children and their spouses, Janine and David Bonadio of Newtown, Dan and Paula Bedore of Bethel, Wayne and Susan Bedore of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., and Robert and Vickie Bedore of Glenburn, Maine; cherished and beloved grandchildren, Jackie, Austin, and Andriana Bonadio, Corey and Annie Bedore, Kristie, Jamie, and Kaylee Bedore and Jennifer, Robert (Beau), and Samantha Bedore. She also leaves behind Reilly her loyal, big black lab of 11 years.

Mrs Bedore will be remembered for her exquisite taste, sense of humor, belief of fairies and angels, enjoyment of QVC, and her adoring love of all of her grandchildren, whom she loved so very much and was so very proud of.

 Mrs Bedore worked for the Larry Stevens Clothing store and Count Down Store in downtown Bethel in the early 1980s, meeting and making many wonderful friends.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful doctors, Dr Gerald Franklin and staff, and all the caring, loving doctors, nurses and Hospice volunteers on 9 West at the Danbury Hospital. You all are truly angels on earth.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Rose Church, April 14. Interment followed in the St Rose Cemetery, Newtown. Arrangements were in care of Bethel Funeral Home.
