William E.       Seeley, Sr
William E. Seeley, Sr, 74, a resident of Newtown from 1956 to 1972, died April 12. A resident of Harleysville, Penn., for the last two years, he lived in the Indian Valley area in Pennsylvania for more than 27 years. He and his wife, Betty (Seman) Seeley, celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on December 29.
Born in Fairfield on April 18, 1928, he was a son of the late Eldridge E. and Erma (Gabler) Seeley. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Army. Mr Seeley worked most of his life as a manager in the warehouse industry. He was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit in Harleysville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, William Seeley, Jr, and his wife, Sharon, of Harleysville, David Seeley of Hilltown, Penn., and his fiancée, Donna Lombardi, and Scott Seeley of Lansdale, Penn., a daughter, Patty Stigliano and her husband, Tom, of Pennsburg, Penn.; 13 grandchildren, William III, Kiernan, Zachary, Dale, Jr, Alyssa, Morgan, Eric, Wesley, Josh, Jacob, Jessica, Hannah, and Will; two nephews, Wayne Hubbell of Massachusetts and Jeff Hubbell of Connecticut; and a niece, Laura Larson of Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Harriett Hubbell.
Graveside Services were held at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Prospectville, Penn., on April 16.
