The Newtown Soccer Club’s Roadrunners (Girls U10) were a little rusty for first game of the 2003 spring, falling to Danbury 2-0.

Sarah Murtha, Rebecca Castegner and Katie O’Dell played great at midfield and Kelly O’Connor played strong at striker. Allison Pliszka and Jillian Jagoe anchored the strong defense, which did not allow Danbury to score in the second half.
