Summer Registration At NVCC
WATERBURY ââ Interested in earning a few credits this summer to help ease the course load next fall? Naugatuck Valley Community College is now accepting registrations for a variety of courses being offered this summer.
Upcoming courses include African Civilization, Introduction to Multimedia, Funky Jazz, and the History of American Motion Pictures. The college is also offering courses in biology, chemistry, math, sociology, and computer science.
NVCC offers transferable credit to colleges and universities throughout the state and country. Students who are matriculating at another college or university should first verify that the summer courses taken locally will fulfill their program requirements.
Courses offered during the general session will run from May 27 through July 18. Courses offered during the first special session will begin on May 27 and end on June 20 and courses offered during the second special session will begin on June 23 and run through July 18.
Students returning to NVCC may register online through May 29 and new and returning students may register by mail or by fax through May 16. Walk-in registrations for all students will take place April 7 through May 23 in the records office in Kinney Hall.
