NewMil Bank Opens New Branch

SOUTHBURY –– NewMil Bank has opened a new business banking center at 200 Main Street South.

In attendance at the groundbreaking was Mark Cooper, first selectman of the town of Southbury who formerly was the longtime director of the Newtown Health District; Dr Chris Dembski, president of the Southbury Business Association; Francis J. Waitr, NewMil Bank president, chairman and chief executive officer; Shelley Terrell, branch manager; Barbara Mazzotta, assistant branch manager, and Thomas Provenzano, assistant vice president and business development officer.

The branch is located across from the new CVS and next to Southbury Food Center. It has a drive-up window, 24-hour ATM, night depository, safe deposit boxes, and a private office for business customer meetings. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, and Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm.

The bank has 19 branches including two others in Southbury.
