Chamber Plans Business After Hours

Fleet Bank and Fleet Mortgage are this month’s sponsors for the Newtown Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours. The event will take place on April 29 at the Villa at 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

This is not the first time that Fleet Bank has sponsored a Business After Hours event.

“Fleet Bank is pleased to support Newtown Chamber of Commerce’s networking events,” said Brian Amey, senior business specialist for the bank. “Helping businesses to be successful is one of Fleet’s major goals. We encourage this type of activity wherever possible.”

There is no charge for Chamber members to attend; nonmembers are charged $10. There will be appetizers and a cash bar. To make a reservation for the event, call the chamber office at 426-2695.
