A public memorial service for Paul Anthony Lagnese will take place at the First Church Congregational, 148 Beach Road, Fairfield, Saturday, April 27, from 1 to 4 pm. Mr Lagnese, of Newtown, died March 8. He succumbed after a long battle with cancer.

His loving wife Babette (Whitney) Lagnese and son Peter Anthony Lagnese of Newtown; stepdaughter Debbie Lee Malone of North Carolina; mother Gloria Marcantonio Lagnese of Fairfield; sister Glorianne Marie Lagnese of Waterbury; brother John Steven Lagnese of Biddeford, Maine; and other relatives survive Mr Lagnese. A brother, Gregory Philip Lagnese, and his father, Sam Ernest Lagnese, predeceased him.
