Always In Our Hearts

Ruth “Sweetie” Johanson, 91, died on April 4. 

Survivors include her daughter Linnea Ingram of Sandy Hook.

Ms Johanson was a longtime resident of Sandy Hook and a member of St John’s Episcopal Church in Sandy Hook for more than 50 years.  She retired from Southbury training school almost 30 years ago and also worked at Danbury Hospital.

She is also survived by daughters Joyce Gaffney of Palatine Bridge, N.Y., Roberta Goodrich of Camano Island, Wash., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the discretion of the family, who said, “She will be greatly missed but always in our hearts.”
