Newtown Boys’ Track Team Wins 12  Events, Sweeps First Meet At Bethel

The Newtown High School boys’ outdoor track and field team went to Bethel High on April 13 and defeated host Bethel 113-37 and Stratford 117-32, and earned a third win over New Fairfield which forfeited the meet.

Kevin Bonacci and John Wlasuk were triple winners as the Nighthawks won 12 of the 18 events.

The Nighthawks will be home on April 20 against Weston, Oxford and Brookfield.
