Kevin Haggerty, 60, died April 10 at St Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, N.Y., He is survived by his mother, Grace Haggerty of Newtown, and brother, Robert Haggerty of Sandy Hook.

Mr Haggerty was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on August 25, 1948. He retired from the Lake Placid (N.Y.) Hotel after ten years of service. He was also a groundskeeper in Long Island, N.Y., for several years. He spent much time hiking and hunting with his beloved dogs.

Predeceased by his father Michael Joseph Haggerty, he is also survived by another brother, Chris Haggerty, sisters Diane Rien and Laura Martell, in-laws, nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by his family and friends. No funeral arrangements have been made at this time.
