Leverage Marketing Wins Awards
The Leverage Marketing Group has again been named a Communicator Award winner, this time in their 2001 Print Media Competition. The Newtown-based advertising and marketing communications firm netted three Awards of Distinction this year in the following categories: Logo Design (for Atinavâs Avenue® logo), Web Site/Home Page (www.leverage-marketing.com), and Marketing/Promotion/Post Card (for a Leverage self-promotion postcard series).
This year the agency also received Honorable Mention for their innovative âFace-to-Faceâ statement stuffer campaign developed for Ridgefield Bank.
Of the 3,344 entries submitted nationally, fewer than one in five received an Award of Distinction. According to award organizers, the Award of Distinction is presented to only those entries that âexceed industry standards in communicating a message or idea.â Last year, the agency won a 2000 Award of Distinction for their Goodwick Associates/Liazon merger announcement.
Prior to merging in late 1999, Liazon and Goodwick Associates were no strangers to awards. Liazon, a consumer sales promotion firm that has serviced such national accounts as Spring, Coca-Cola, and Alamo Rent-a-Car, was a co-recipient last summer of the industryâs prestigious REGGIE® Award. Goodwick Associates, the 15-year-old business-to-business MarComm mainstay for such clients as Sealed Air and many others, has been a six-time winner of the GraphicDesign:usa Award of Excellence.
