Jaycees Mother’s Day Contest

DANBURY — The Danbury Jaycees are conducting the Second Annual Mother’s Day Contest. The group will select a mother from the greater Danbury area who exemplifies motherhood.

Has your mother been through a difficult time? Has she supported you a difficult time? Is she an all-around great mother to you and your family? Write a brief explanation on why your mother deserves to be the 2001 Mother of the Year and send entries to Danbury Jaycees Mother’s Day Contest, PO Box 3351, Danbury, CT 06813. Entries can also be emailed to danburyjaycees@hotmail.com

Entries should be received by May 8. Entries need to include your mother’s name, your mother’s address, your name, your address, and your daytime phone number.

Photos may be included but are not required. Photos will not be returned. 

The winner of first annual Mother’s Day Contest will be announced in early May. The winner will also be asked to attend the Jaycee membership meeting on May 15 to receive her award.
