Reed Intermediate School Celebrates UConn’s Triumph

Reed Intermediate School students and faculty recently rejoiced in the championship wins of the University of Connecticut’s men’s and women’s basketball teams with huge Husky spirit.

Classroom windows were bedecked with posters and signs declaring the school’s top status.

Students came to classes adorned in blue and white face paint, UConn sweatshirts, and other Husky memorabilia. Each homeroom teacher nominated one student to compete in a schoolwide contest to determine which student displayed the strongest UConn spirit.

Winners were awarded with T-shirts marked with UConn’s official championship logo.
