Melissa Faye Eigen to Craig Matthew Ansman

Melissa Faye Eigen of Appleseed Drive, Sandy Hook, and Craig Matthew Ansman of West Islip, N.Y., announce their engagement to be married.

The future bride is the daughter of Anne and Richard Eigen of Sandy Hook.

The future groom is the son of Barbara and Richard Ansman of West Islip, N.Y.

Ms Eigen attended Newtown High School and graduated with the Class of 1996. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stony Brook University, and she received a Master of Arts degree in public relations from Boston University. She is a marketing director for the Westfield Corporation.

Mr Ansman attended West Islip High School and graduated with the Class of 1996. He attended Stony Brook University and is a professional baseball player with the Tucson Sidewinders, Triple A Division. He is employed by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

A January wedding is planned.
