Free Clinic On Backpacking

DANBURY — On Wednesday, May 5, The Outing Club and Eastern Mountain Sports Danbury Fair Mall will be presenting a Backpacking 101 Clinic at 7 pm. Registration is required by April 26. The clinic is designed to be an introduction to backpacking as well as a refresher course for the experienced backpacker. Topics will include how to plan a backpacking trip, what gear is needed, how to backpack, how to get in shape for backpacking, basic first aid, and where to go backpacking.
