Cinco De Mayo BPW Installation Dinner

A Cinco de Mayo installation ceremony will be the highlight of the Business and Professional Women’s club meeting on Monday, May 3, at the Inn at Newtown.

A Mexican buffet, party favors, and Mexican music by Peter Obre will make the evening a memorable one. During the evening a scholarship will be awarded to a woman in Newtown who is advancing her career.

All BPW meetings are open to prospective members as well as current members. At this meeting there will be a chance to meet the new board, have conversation with friends and business associates and also have fun.

Registration begins at 6 pm. Dinner will be at 6:30.  Reservations for the Mexican buffet are $30. Reservations are required by Friday, April 30; call Laura Mayer at 26-8669.

The Newtown Business and Professional Women’s Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes the interests of business and professional women, providing them with an opportunity for networking. The club sponsors scholarships to help women who are changing or advancing their careers.
