Ensign Michael J. Messemer was recently designated a Naval Aviator after completing qualification on the USS Harry S. Truman. He received his “Wings of Gold” on March 26. graduating flight school at the top of his class. Michael will next report to Naval Air Station Oceana to fly the F/A-18 Hornet strike-fighter.

Maggie Proctor, daughter of Michael Proctor and Anne Peters, was named to the winter term honor roll at Deerfield Academy, an independent secondary school located in Deerfield, Mass.
