Blood Drive Set For May 1

The American Red Cross will be holding a Blood Drive on Saturday, May 1, from 8 am to 1 pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at 330 Main Street, Danbury (next to the bus station).

Appointments are in 15-minute increments and begin at 8 am. All interested donors should contact Pam Young at 794-9234 for an appointment.

 The blood drive is sponsored by the church, which has its main building on Saw Mill Road in Newtown.
