Kathleen McCarthy To Frank J. Durante, Jr

Walter and Patricia McCarthy of Sandy Hook announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Elizabeth McCarthy, to Frank Joseph Durante, Jr, son of Frank and Donna Durante of Sandy Hook.

The future bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1993 and received a degree in psychology from Loyola College in Baltimore, Md. She is a human resources coordinator with IKON Office Solutions.

The future groom graduated from Newtown High School in 1993 and received a degree in justice and law administration from Western Connecticut State University. He is a case manager for Cigna Group Insurance.

An October wedding is planned.
