The second Sunday of Easter will be celebrated at the 10:30 am service on April 22. The special anthem by the Senior Choir will be “O Risen Lord.” Sunday school and Bible classes will be held at 9 am. Included on the calendar for the week is the April coffee hour after service on Sunday. On Tuesday evening the King’s Ringers rehearse at 7:45 pm and the pictorial directory group meets at 8 pm. The Senior Choir rehearses on Wednesday at 8 pm. On Thursday, the Confirmation II group meets at 7 pm and the Bible study group gathers at 8 pm. The Rev Janice Touloukian, associate minister, will be assisting. Begun in 1949, One Great Hour of Sharing is supported by eight denominations and Church World Service. The gifts go to help relieve suffering and poverty throughout the world. “All the Earth Rejoice With a Gladsome Voice” will be the anthem by the Senior Choir with Mary Andreotta directing and with Leonard Manz at the piano and organ. Monday evening Bible study continues at 7:30 in the Church House. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is the topic using the Barkley’s commentary as the guide. Wednesday morning Bible studies with Rev Gordon is in the Sanctuary at 9:30. No registration is required and it is open to all. April 27-29 is the All-Church Retreat at the Incarnation Center in Ivoryton beginning at 8 pm Friday and ending at noon on Sunday. “The Living Bible” will be the title of the weekend program with Lay Minister Ed Corfey leading.
