Two Warrants

On the afternoon of April 13, police served two arrest warrants against Robert J. Bergeron, 17, of 89 Poverty Hollow Road.

Police said they had arrested Bergeron last December 21 on a charge of sixth degree larceny. Bergeron, however, failed to make a court appearance in connection with that charge, so a judge issued a rearrest warrant for him on April 6, police said.

When police found Bergeron on Queen Street, they charged him with second degree failure to appear in court and with sixth degree larceny.

Also, police said that Bergeron allegedly broke into a Poverty Hollow Road home on March 16 and stole some items from it. Following an investigation, police sought and received an arrest warrant for Bergeron for that crime.

Police additionally arrested Bergeron on charges of third degree burglary and fourth degree larceny.

Police were holding Bergeron on $10,100 bail for an April 14 court appearance to answer the charges.

Motor Vehicle Arrest

At about 9:30 pm April 13, police spotted an eastbound vehicle on Mt Pleasant Road that crossed over into the westbound lane, so they stopped the driver.

Following an investigation, police charged motorist Glenn S. Davis, 52, of Monroe with failure to drive to the right and with driving with a suspended license.

Police released Davis on a promise to appear April 26 in Danbury Superior Court.
