To the Editor:

Thank you to the greater Newtown community for turning out on a blustery spring day to support the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library’s Donation Day on Sunday, April 10.

Friends’ volunteers collected an astonishing number of books, puzzles, games, and media. These donations will enrich the selection available at our 2022 annual sale (July 8-12), our Holiday sale in December, and our year-round outlet, The Little Book Store, now in a new, expanded location on the second floor of the C.H. Booth Library.

Proceeds from all of these sales provide financial support for acquisitions, programs, and other endeavors that enhance the Booth Library.

Thanks also to the Booth Library for hosting the Donation Day in the rear parking lot and to The Newtown Bee for publicizing the event.
