Wine Tasting Fundraiser To Be Held At St Peter’s

MONROE — The Men’s Club of St Peter’s Episcopal Church will host a wine tasting fundraiser on Friday, April 28, at 7 pm, in the Parish Hall.

The fundraiser is open to the public and will include wine tasting, door prizes, raffles and light refreshments.

Jamie Jones, a local winemaker who has created grape and specialty fruit wines at his vineyard in Shelton, will speak about growing the fruits and making the wine.

Roy Nealon, owner of GlenRo Spirit Shoppe, will share tips for selecting the right wine for any occasion.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the church office, or call 268-4265 for the names of local businesses that will have tickets for sale.

Space will be limited, so people are encouraged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible.

Saint Peter’s is at 175 Tannery Road/Route 111, on the town green.
