William Raveis Real Estate Opens Newtown Office

William Raveis, chairman and CEO of William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services, has announced the opening of the company’s Newtown office, temporarily located at 1 Riverside Road, Suite 102, in the Sandy Hook section of town. As of June, the office’s permanent location will be at 14 Church Hill Road, Unit C7, in the Church Hill & Queen Commons.

The Newtown location will be the company’s 56th office. “Newtown is an extraordinary town that has undergone tremendous growth in recent years, and we are thrilled to expand our presence there,” commented Mr Raveis. “As New England’s largest family-owned real estate company, we’re truly pleased to bring the residents of Newtown and its surrounding areas our superior family of services,” he continued.

Cathy Donnelly, currently the manager of the company’s Southbury office, will assume the additional role of sales manager of the Newtown office. Ms Donnelly has 19 years of experience in the real estate industry, having previously been a successful real estate sales associate before joining the management team at Raveis almost five years ago.

Ms Donnelly is active in her local, state, and national real estate organizations, currently serving on the boards of directors for the National and Connecticut Associations of Realtors. She also serves on and/or chairs various committees for each of these organizations. Additionally, Ms. Donnelly was a co-chair of William Raveis’ 2005 Breast Cancer Research fundraisers, which helped raise more than $275,000 towards breast cancer research.
