‘Spitfire Grill’ Auditions At

Ridgefield Theater Barn

RIDGEFIELD — The Ridgefield Theater Barn will hold open auditions for the musical The Spitfire Grill, based on the book by Fred Alley and James Valcq with music by James Valcq and lyrics by Fred Alley. The Ridgefield production will be directed by Kyle Minor.

The auditions will be held on Sunday, April 23, and Monday, April 24, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, at the theater barn, 37 Halpin Lane.

Those auditioning should prepare an uptempo Broadway tune and a ballad. Depending on time, be prepared to sing only 16 bars of these songs. Attendees may also be asked to learn a short piece of dance/movement, so dress appropriately.

Callbacks are yet to be scheduled.

Performances will run weekends, June 16 through July 15, with a Sunday matinee on July 2.
