Annual Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co Easter Plant & Flower Sale, 10 am–4 pm, main station, Riverside Road, fundraiser for fire department continues on April 15.

2nd Annual Flashlight Egg Hunt, 6:30 pm (rescheduled from April 7), Dickinson Park pavilion, Elm Drive, ages 9 and up invited to bring their own flashlight and enjoy Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Newtown Parks & Rec, registration requested; 270-4340.

Saturday, April 15

Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. Easter Plant & Flower Sale continues, 10 am–4 pm, main station, Riverside Rd.

Spring Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza, 10 am (rescheduled from April 8), Dickinson Park pavilion, Elm Drive, ages 3–8 invited to join egg hunt (two groups: ages 4 and under, ages 5–8) starting at 10:30 am, also visits with Easter Bunny, prize eggs, Jelly Bean Guess, bring bag to hold eggs; 270-4340.
