DANBURY — This year 18 Western Connecticut State University students have been selected for the 2006 Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Roger Connor Jr, of Newtown, a senior majoring in theater arts, is one of the selected students.

For 72 years Who’s Who Among Students has been honoring outstanding scholars across the nation. Recommended for consideration by faculty, staff, and their peers,  students are selected by a campus nominating committee and the editors of the annual directory. The committee reviews leadership skills, community service, and academics.

As recipients of this honor, students are recognized among the top campus leaders selected from more than 1,900 schools nationwide.
