Auditions For ‘Bugsy Malone’

SHERMAN — The Sherman Playhouse is looking for guys and gals ages 11 to 17 to audition for this year’s musical, Bugsy Malone. Lanny Mitchell will be directing and choreographing the production, which is based on the 1976 hit move of the same name that starred Jodie Foster and Scott Baio, with original music by Paul Williams.

Auditions will be on Saturday, April 29, from 3 to 7 pm, and Sunday, April 30, from 2 to 6 pm. They will be at Sherman Playhouse, at the corner of Routes 37 and 39.

Those auditioning should be prepared to dance and sing; bring sheet music or a tape to audition.

Callbacks will be May 5and 6, from 3 to 6 pm, also at the playhouse.

Show dates are weekends, July 27 through August 19.
