An Eagle Scout Says Thanks
An Eagle Scout Says Thanks
To the Editor:
I have recently been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, and I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the businesses that so graciously helped me complete my project.
The three most important materials that I needed to undertake my project were mulch, gravel, and telephone poles. The telephone poles were needed to assemble new benches and steps in the amphitheater behind Cullens Lodge; the gravel was needed to fill in the area between the steps and leading up to the driveway; and the mulch was needed to fill in the area between and in front of the benches. J.F. Walsh Mulch in Newtown, Bethel Sand and Gravel, and AT&T were all more than happy to donate the aforementioned materials. They were all very helpful with the completion of my project, and I could not have finished it without their assistance.
Sincerely,
Eddie Small
