Tourism Speaker At St Rose

Kay Schreiber, special events developer for the Housatonic Valley Tourism Bureau, will speak about “Feasts, Festivals, and Events in Your Backyard” at 7:30 pm, Monday, April 23, in a program sponsored by the St Rose Parish Nurse Ministry.

The program, which is open to the public, will be held in the parish hall at St Rose Church.

Ms Schreiber will talk about many events planned throughout the area in the coming weeks, including the Housatonic Valley Classic Bike Race, a 140-mile event that will come through Newtown on May 20, and the Foxwood Bass Fishing Tournament.

There will be tourism information to take home and a question and answer session.
