Medical Town Meetings At Danbury Hospital

The Health Consequences of Snoring and Other Sleep Disorders, Tuesday, May 8. This program will be held from 7 to 8:30 pm in the hospital’s John C. Creasy Center for Health Education auditorium.

The Maturing Woman: Exploring Health Concerns During and Beyond Menopause, Tuesday, May 15. This program addresses risks/benefits of hormone replacement therapy, uterine fibroids, peripheral vascular disease, benign breast disease, and the importance of mammograms. Women’s health exhibits conducted from 6-7 pm in the auditorium foyer.

Be Sun Savvy! Stay Wise to the Risk of Sun Exposure, Tuesday, May 22. This program takes place in conjunction with a free skin cancer assessment and screening, May 23 and May 24. For time and location, call 203-797-7247.   Living Wills, Advance Directives & Health Care Decision Making as We Mature, Tuesday, June, 5. This program includes discussions on living wills, advance directives, and other legal and medical issues affecting seniors. There will be a Senior Expo in the auditorium foyer from 6-7 pm.
