Marilyn Kreusser Matschke, 50, of Newtown, died April 6. She was the wife of Rick Matschke.

Mrs Matschke was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 14, 1956, a daughter of Jay Kreusser of Ridgefield and the late Barbara (Sonand) Kreusser. She was a graduate of Weston High School and the Katherine Gibbs School. A resident of Newtown for 23 years, Mrs Matschke was an EMT-I for the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Association, responding to more than 1,000 calls.

In addition to her husband of 25 years and her father, she is survived by a son, Sean Matschke, and a daughter, Michelle Matschke, both of Newtown; a brother, Jack Kreusser; and two sisters, Sue Mesmer and Nancy Witherbee.

Interment in Emmanuel Episcopal Church Cemetery, Weston, will be at the convenience of the family.

 Arrangements were in care of the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
