Clarification

In a story that was published April 6 about local PTAs supporting the proposed 2007-2008 education budget, several PTA leaders either asserted support in person during a meeting with The Newtown Bee, or in writing. The positions stated were endorsed by each individual PTA during votes taken at meetings in recent weeks. The recommendations do not necessarily represent the individual views of all PTA members, or the PTA leaders who transmitted the statements either in writing or in person.
