Asking for Trust, Confidence, And Vote
To the Editor:
Fellow 112th District Voter,
I am asking for your vote on April 13. Former State Representatives, JP Sredzinski and DebraLee Hovey showed what it means to represent our community. I promise to follow in their footsteps and go to Hartford knowing that I carry the voices of our district. I will listen to residents and each vote I make in Hartford will be made with the voters of the 112th District in mind.
I have stated my goals: to fight against unfunded mandates and excessive taxation, to make CT more affordable for all residents, and to protect local control over governing. I humbly ask for your vote. For those of you that have already voted for me by absentee and for those that will go to their polling place and cast their vote for me Tuesday, I promise to make you proud and serve you well when elected. For those that will choose not to vote for me, I promise to work diligently for Monroe and Newtown to earn your trust, so that when up for reelection I do earn your vote.
We have a two-party system, not to force us to battle amongst ourselves, but to allow us to work together, for the good of the people we represent. One party rule in Hartford does no one any good and is clearly not working. We need a State Representative to strongly advocate for our district, push back against Hartford overreaching control, and steadfastly fight against increased taxes and unfunded mandates, while also striving to make positive change for the people of Connecticut.
I ask for your trust, I ask for your confidence, and I ask for your vote.
