Rose S. Deldin, 98, of Sandy Hook died April 10 at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles P. Deldin. She was born November 7, 1917, in Bronx, N.Y., the daughter of the late Marie (Eldi) and Carlo Daglia.

She was raised and educated in Bronx, and moved to Danbury in 1969 with her family. Most recently, she resided in Sandy Hook after returning to Connecticut from Fort Pierce, Fla., in July 2015.

Her son Robert C. Deldin, and his companion Andrea Tarantino, of Fort Pierce; five grandchildren, Danielle, Mychal, Robert, Jeffrey, and Christopher; and five great-grandchildren survive Mrs Deldin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 13, at St Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, April 12, from 4 to 8 pm.
