Newtown Choral Society will present "Music of the Gods and the Greeks" on Sunday, April 24.Idomeneo, King of Crete and Henry Purcell's Dido's Lament, as well as lullabies in Greek and the jazz standard "Icarus" by Gary Rosen.Troy and a medley of songs from the movie Hercules, as well as novelty songs from the early 20th Century, will be featured.lel-choir2@se-ltd.com or find Newtown Choral Society on Facebook.

The spring concert will begin at 3:30 pm. It will be performed at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street.
